Biography
From community service to national leadership
Born and raised in Kabowa, Rubaga Division, Sheilah Amaniyo studied at Namagunga St. Tereza Primary School, Kampala Parents School and St. Mary’s College Namagunga.
She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Development Economics and later a Master’s degree in Economic Policy and Planning from Makerere University. Her academic training continues to shape her focus on productivity, livelihoods and development policy.
Before active politics, she worked in business and community mobilisation, supporting maternal health, school fees, vocational skills and vulnerable families through Rotary and charity initiatives.
